Eventity had the honour of conceptualising, designing, producing and delivering the Grand Opening of Northern Star, which took place on Friday, 8 May, during an elegant evening of premium hospitality, refined aesthetics and memorable brand experiences, welcoming more than 300 distinguished guests.

Northern Star S.A., a joint venture between Egnatia Group and Lamda Star S.A., operates as an Authorized Dealer and Repairer of Mercedes-Benz, smart, OMODA & JAECOO in Thessaloniki. The company is committed to delivering premium service standards and an exceptional customer experience that fully reflects the prestige of the brands it represents.

Among the guests were the Deputy Minister of Development Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, the Vice-Regional Governor of the Metropolitan Unit of Thessalonikis Mr. Konstantinos Gioutikas, Member of Parliament Mr. Dimitris Kouvelas, businesswoman Ms. Eleana Vlachou-Tzitzikosta, together with distinguished clients and representatives from the business, institutional and social communities of Thessaloniki and Athens.

Guests were invited to discover Northern Star’s new state-of-the-art showroom while experiencing the latest Mercedes-Benz and smart models alongside the distinctive OMODA & JAECOO vehicle range, within an atmosphere designed to reflect the elegance, innovation and premium identity of the brands.

From the initial creative concept to the final execution, Eventity curated every aspect of the experience. The evening opened with an exclusive live saxophone performance that welcomed guests with sophistication and style, while internationally renowned DJ Alexandros Christopoulos took over later in the evening, transforming the event into a vibrant celebration that remained the talk of the city.

To complement the premium concept, guests enjoyed a carefully selected signature cocktail experience by Elite Vodka, paired with a refined live sushi experience that elevated the event’s hospitality and culinary identity, creating an immersive lifestyle experience perfectly aligned with the Northern Star brand philosophy.

The official ceremony was hosted by Mr. Emmanouil Stratos, Head of the Northern Star showroom. Speeches were delivered by Mr. Ioannis Kaligeros, CEO of Star Automotive Hellas, Mr. Heinz Schneiter, Member of the Board of Emil Frey Group, Mr. Stelios Kalaras, General Distributors Business Mercedes-Benz Vans and Mr. Martin Zahn, Business Development & Market Management, GDs Europe & Central Asia.

Eventity was responsible for the overall creative concept, event production, project management, supplier coordination, hospitality experience, entertainment curation and on-site execution, delivering a seamless event that successfully showcased Northern Star’s vision and established its new showroom as a landmark destination for premium automotive brands in Northern Greece.

The Grand Opening concluded with outstanding guest feedback and successfully positioned Northern Star as the new benchmark for premium automotive retail experiences in Thessaloniki.
